This invitation suite was designed for a Lowcountry boil with a focus on playfulness , simplicity, and coastal character. Hand-painted watercolor seafood elements like shrimp and shells bring a personal touch, while the bold red and blue palette keeps the design clean and cohesive.

For this Low Country Boil birthday suite, I wanted it to feel fun, coastal, and really reflect Charleston in a playful way.
I started by hand-painting watercolor seafood elements like shrimp and shells to give everything a personal, organic feel. After scanning them in, I brought them into Illustrator and vectorized each piece so I could reuse them consistently across the full suite.
From there, I built out the system using a bold red and blue palette and kept the layouts clean and simple so the watercolor elements could stand out, making the whole suite feel cohesive, easy, and intentional.
